Its a big misconception that Krishna offered draupadi to Karna during their meeting in Udyoga Parva.

Krishna told Radheya:
Rahdhanandan, you always worship Brahamans who have excelled in their knowledge of Vedas. For learning the truth, you have controlled your base senses and ignored your own mentality and asked questions and got solutions to your questions from these Brahmans.
Karna, What are the sanatana vedic principles? This you know, as well understand the subtle subjects of Dharmashastras.
The son born of Kanya has two types: Kanina and Suhodha. Husband of the mother is the father of the child as per shastras.
Karna, you were also born like this. Thus, by religious point of view, you are Pandu’s son. So come and become king as per dharmashastras.
On father’s side you will Pandavas as allies and on mother’s side you will get Vrisnis as allies. You should know this fact.
Come with me and Pandavas will get the knowledge that you are elder to Yudhishthara.
पादौ तव ग्रहीष्यन्ति भ्रातरः पञ्च पाण्डवाः
द्रौपदेयास्तथा पञ्च सौभद्रश्चापराजितः
Five brothers Pandavas, Drauapdi’s sons and ever Invincible Subhdara’s sons will touch your feet.
राजानो राजपुत्राश्च पाण्डवार्थे समागताः
पादौ तव ग्रहीष्यन्ति सर्वे चान्धकवृष्णयः
The Kings and Princes from Andhaka and Vrishni vansha who have come to help Pandavas will also bow before you.
Now here Krishna tries to reassure Karna regarding his most heinous crime. Draupadi’s children will never forgive easily. Nor will Dhaumya.
हिरण्मयांश्च ते कुम्भान्राजतान्पार्थिवांस्तथा
ओषध्यः सर्वबीजानि सर्वरत्नानि वीरुधः
राजन्या राजकन्याश्चाप्यानयन्त्वभिषेचनम्
षष्टि च त्वां तथा काले द्रौपद्युपगमिष्यति ---> The phrase that translators misconstrue (see Draaupdhya in construction, it’s not Draupadi, its her children)
अद्य त्वामभिषिञ्चन्तु चातुर्वैद्या द्विजातयः
पुरोहितः पाण्डवानां व्याघ्रचर्मण्यवस्थितम्
Translation
Wrapped in tigerskin, the priest of Pandavas, with the Pure hearted, educated in all Vedas, the Draupadi’s descendents SIXTY princes and princesses will over time come around (“gamishyte”) and welcome you with Gold, silver, and pottery vessels filled with jewels, and other ardhya objects ready for your coronation/welcome. (“Ardhya” )
The other way to translate this is
With Time, You will (manage to) persuade (shashti) the priest of Pandavas, wrapped in tigerskin, and the Pure hearted, educated in all Vedas, the children (Dyupa or descendents) of Draupadi, Thus, these princes and princesses will eventually come around (“gmaishyte”) to welcome you with Gold, silver, and pottery vessels filled with jewels, and other ardhya objects.
SO THE BORI CRITICAL EDITION ALSO MAKES CLEAR THAT KRISHNA DID NOT OFFER DRAUPADI TO KARNA.

EXPLANATION:
Krishna told that he will make Karna the samrat and all his brothers(pandavas) and their sons including draupadi will fall to his feet,but karna said no and suggested yudishtira to be a better samrat.
SO EVEN AS PER MADHVACHARYA,LORD KRISHNA DID NOT OFFER DRAUPADI TO KARNA,HERE ALSO IT MEANT SONS OF DRAUPADI.
