Missconception About BHEEM WAS DEFEATED BY AN ORDINARY ELEPHANT !!

1)BHEEM WAS DEFEATED BY AN ORDINARY ELEPHANT-

EXPLANATION-

That elephant of Bhagdutta was no ordinary elephant,It was enhanced with the power of Vaishnavastra(Weapon of Lord Vishnu),thats why it was invincible. That elephant was alone capable of Crushing Karna and Duryodhan.Bheem still did pretty well against it,considering the fact that it was powered by Vaishnav weapon.

Narrative:

"His elephant, again, is the foremost of
elephants, without a rival to
encounter it in battle. Possessed of
great dexterity and above all fatigue,
it is, again, impervious to all
weapons. Capable of bearing every
weapon and even the touch of fire,
it will, O sinless one, alone destroy
the Pandava force today. Except us
two, there is none else capable of
checking that creature. Go quickly,
therefore, to that spot where the
ruler of the Pragjyotishas is. Proud
in battle, in consequence of the
strength of his elephant, and
arrogant in consequence of his age"

Bhagdutta, son of Naraka got vaishnavastra from him.Naraka's mother(Earth) asked lord Vishnu this weapon for his son,so that he is invincible in the battle.

After Krishna pacified Vaishnavastra, that elephant lost its might and became ordinary. And Arjun slayed that elephant with just one arrow.(Earlier Arjun was also having a hard time against that elephant due to Vaishnav weapon)

Narrative:

"Arjuna fearlessly struck a long
arrow between the frontal globes of
his enemy's elephant. That arrow,
splitting the elephant like the
thunder splitting a mountain,
penetrated into its body to the very
wings, like a snake penetrating into an ant-hill.
Though urged repeatedly then by
Bhagadatta, the elephant refused to
obey like a poor man's wife her
lord. With limbs paralysed, it fell
down, striking the earth with its
tusks. Uttering a cry of distress, that
huge elephant gave up the ghost."

As you can read,Arjun killed that elephant with a single arrow, after bhagdutta lost Vaishnavastra.

CONCLUSION:

THAT ELEPHANT WAS NO ORDINARY ONE,IT WAS INVINCIBLE DUE TO VAISHNAVA WEAPON,AFTER THE WEAPON WAS PACIFIED,IT BECAME ORDINARY AND GOT KILLED EASILY.

2)KARNA DID NOT ASK DUSHASAN TO DISROBE DRAUPADI

Well this one is the latest.

Actually it was karna only who asked dushasan to disrobe draupadi.

Narrative:

"O Dussasana, this Vikarna speaking
words of (apparent) wisdom is but a
boy. Take off the robes of the
Pandavas as also the #attire of #Draupadi. Hearing
these words the Pandavas, O Bharata,
took of their upper garments and
throwing them down sat in that assembly."

As you can read, karna asking dushasan to take off 'attire of draupadi' is clearly mentioned in the narrative.
After this, dushasan starts to disrobe draupadi and she starts praying to lord krishna.

GeetaPress edition also mentions Karna asking Dushasan to disrobe Draupadi.

CONCLUSION:

KARNA WAS THE ONE WHO ASKED DUSHASAN TO DISROBE DRAUPADI.

3)KARNA NULLIFIED BHAGDUTTA'S VAISHNAVASTRA WITH HIS OWN DURING DIGVIJAY

EXPLANATION:

This is another lie being spread by Karna fan pages. The fact is,

Firstly,Karna never had Vaishnavastra, its nowhere mentioned in Mahabharat.Karna fans have themselves added weapons to Karna's quiver as per their liking.

Secondly,Bhagdutta never used Vaishnavastra against Karna during his Digvijay.Nowhere written in Mahabharata. If Bhagdutta used this weapon, karna would have been dead then and there itself.

One more thing, which those Karna fans might not know is that Vaishnavastra can be used only once by a warrior.
If Bhagdutta used this weapon during Digvijay, how did he managed to use it again in Kurukshetra against Arjun???

CONCLUSION:

LIE EXPOSED AGAIN,KARNA NEVER POSSESED VAISHNAVA WEAPON.HE WAS LUCKY THAT BHAGDUTTA DIDN'T USE IT AGAINST HIM DURING DIGVIJAY,ELSE HE WAS GONE.

4)KARNA DID NOT BROKE ABHIMANYU'S BOW FROM BEHIND

EXPLANATION:

Well its clearly written in Mahabharat that Guru Drona adviced Karna to break Abhimanyu's bow from behind.Karna was unable to break Abhimanyu's bow from the front, infact he was getting beaten against Abhimanyu from the front.

Narrative:

"O mighty bowman, O
son of Radha, if competent, do this.
Making him turn back from the
fight (by this means), strike him then."

As mentioned in the narrative, drona did ask Karna to attack Abhimanyu from Behind.

As you can see,GeetaPress also clearly mentions Drona asking Karna to attack Abhimanyu from behind.

Some 'ENGINEERS' who say that it is not possible to break your enemies bow from behind,as the bow is covered by the body and Abhimanyu didn't had a transparent body, let me tell you,the wielder has to turn his body right or left to shoot an arrow properly, which exposes his bow for an enemy standing behind giving him an easy shot.
Look at this image for proper visualization

Bow is exposed for an enemy standing behind you.

CONCLUSION:

KARNA BROKE ABHIMANYU'S BOW FROM BEHIND.
